Abstract

Gas sensors have a broad range of applications in various fields of research and industry such as; oil, gas, petroleum, food
production, agriculture and medicine. Because of environmental issues in progressive industries, detection of poisonous gases like
CO, NH3 and NOX is a great concern. Recently, graphene hybrids have been used to manufacture gas sensors with enhanced
properties like accurate sensing, fast detection rate and appropriate selectivity. In this review, the basics of gas detection plus the
manufacture process of this new generation of graphene hybrid sensors based on noble metals, metals oxide, and conductive
polymers would be investigated. Moreover, comparison different kinds of these sensors would help us to overcome challenges in the
production of gas sensors based on graphene hybrid in the future of technology and industries.
